The fairies of the village of Berkswell

Myosella Forgetmere Fairy

Myosella Forgetmere was no ordinary fairy.

She wore a green gown spun from morning mist and spent her days tending the tiny forget-me-nots beside Berkswell’s ancient stone well.

The Warwickshire wind often carried whispers of her magic, but only those truly lost ever felt her presence.

One chilly autumn evening, a young boy named Leo wandered too far into the shifting shadows of the woods. Terrified and confused, he remembered his grandmother's words about the well. Kneeling by the mossy stones, he gently plucked a single, sky-blue flower and laid it upon the damp ledge.

Myosotis scorpioides (water forget-me-not)

From the petals, Myosella appeared, glowing with a soft, comforting light. She did not speak, but her gentle smile banished his fear. A trail of luminous blue petals suddenly sparked along the dark path. Following the magical, glowing breadcrumbs, Leo safely walked straight back to his garden gate.

Myosella smiled, fading back into the blossoms.

Fairies are living in Baulk Lane, Spencers Lane, Berkswell Village Green, The Well, Berkswell Spinney and Old Waste Lane
