The Berkswell Society

What We Do

The Berkswell Society has evolved into a form of residents association. It is run by volunteers who care about Berkswell – village and parish. As a non-political and non-sectarian organisation it aims to do all that is necessary to preserve the amenities of the parish, and to protect and secure the rights and interests of the residents and all who enjoy Berkswell Parish.

Our key activities involve installing and maintaining flower planters across the Parish, planting spring bulbs in verges and green spaces and organising litter picks.

More recently we have planted apple trees in Riddings Hill Estate in a “fruit for free initiative” and planted and maintained roundabouts and “godcakes” on local roads.

We work closely with the Parish Council to ensure on-going conservation and enhancement of our community assets. We also publish a periodic newsletter which is sent out by e-mail to let members know what is going on in the Parish.
